Formed in 2018, Figure Factor is a post-punk band from Austin, TX.

The band draws on influences from early new wave and first-wave goth while adding their own brand of wall-of-sound dissonance born out of their roots in DIY queer-punk and dance-punk catharsis. Live shows find band members dancing along to fever-pitch tempos and head-banging to gothic breakdowns while leaving room for shoegazing and love songs in the space between crescendos. Note-worthy shows include supporting seminal French Coldwave group Trisomie 21, sharing the San La Muerte festival lineup with Pink Turns Blue, and supporting Washington D.C.’s Priests.

Following the release of their first full length album “Rituals In Transfigured Tone”, Figure Factor is returning with a second full length album “Once More With Feelings” for release in the Fall of 2024.
